About Us

South Orange County Republicans (SOCR) is an independent organization focused on:

• Getting Republicans Elected
• Advocating for common sense policies and opposing bad legislation
• Developing future Republican leaders

Our membership includes both men and women.   We are a big tent that respects our members’ intelligence, invites civil discussion, and takes down echo chamber walls.  In addition to registered Republicans, we invite NPP, American Independent, Libertarian, and non-registered conservatives to join us to become informed and educated.  This organization was created to provide what voters are seeking to be informed and active in supporting candidates, have a voice in legislation, and create opportunities to develop our future leaders.

Our evening meetings provide greater accessibility for those who work during the day and for engagement with elected officials.  A lower cost reduces financial barriers and increases candidate support.  Specific times for fellowship and program delivery respect our members’ time.  Our members have the opportunity to engage with each other and focus on specific issues by participating on Platform Committees.
